Help us Create Shelter Moving-Out Kits!

Our Residential Services Program (Emergency Family Shelter) works to link families and single parents with housing options in Western New York. Our facility is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our residents meet frequently with trained caseworkers who help them with housing assistance and meeting their basic needs. 

Our Emergency Family Shelter is equipped with a few different playrooms for children and youth staying with us, including “The Goal Post” room sponsored by The Buffalo Bills and our “Bright Spaces” room with interactive toys for children under 2 years old. We also offer a Breakfast Café for families to use during the day to search for apartments and make business call. 

We help to provide our families “Basic Kitchen Setups” for families who successfully secure stable housing solutions. These kits include items like:

  • Pots & Pans
  • Bakeware (cookie sheets, cooling racks, cake pans etc)
  • Cooking and serving utensils
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Mixing bowls 
  • Serving dishes
  • Cutting boards
  • Knife sets
